Commercial Cleaner

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of exam rooms, restrooms, waiting rooms, hallways, and other designated areas within the commercial building.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and sanitize restrooms regularly.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and common areas.
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred; custodial experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Punctual and reliable attendance record.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with others.
• Push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Stand for up to 8 hours.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
