Foti Contracting LLC, a premier union masonry contractor with over 35 years of experience, is seeking a Commercial Bricklayer – Masonry Construction Specialist for full‑time work in Wickliffe, OH (onsite with up to 10% local travel). The role focuses on commercial masonry (union) projects and requires a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and install commercial brick, block, and structural stone assemblies according to project specifications.
• Measure distance points and lay out pattern courses using plumb bobs, levels, and laser alignment tools.
• Mix, apply, and finish mortar formulations to ensure optimal bond strength and structural integrity.
• Cut and shape masonry units using power saws, chisels, and specialized field equipment.
• Fasten masonry to structural frameworks using anchors, ties, and reinforcing steel components.
• Collaborate with union crew members and field supervisors to meet rigorous quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Strong physical endurance, spatial awareness, and dedication to job site safety protocols.
• 3+ years of commercial bricklaying or masonry experience in field operations.
• Openness to entry‑level candidates committed to developing a career in commercial masonry.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to job sites outside a 30‑mile radius of the primary location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
• Journeyman Bricklayer status with 7–10 years of specialized union experience (preferred).

Pay
