Commercial Banking Relationship Manager II
About The Role
Develops, advises, manages, and retains client relationships. Solicits new business relationships with a focus on the profitability of those relationships. A sales- and solutions-focused position.
Responsibilities
- Develops internal relationships to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients from all areas of the Bank.
- Advises clients on financial solutions and strategies.
- Manages and reviews client relationships.
- Demonstrates a high level of awareness of banking industry and industry-specific trends.
- Demonstrates a broad knowledge in other banking services offered by other lines of business to identify and offer qualified referrals.
- Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge, understanding, and development of commercial banking financial solutions, including complex credit structures and solutions, treasury management and deposit solutions, and engaging in community relationships and activities for business development.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or other appropriate area preferred or equivalent work experience, required.
- 7 years of Commercial Banking experience or equivalent, required.
- Proven ability to cross-sell all bank products.
- Expert in building client relationships.
- Handles complex relationships and interacts with outside counsel.
- Expert business development and sales skills.
- Able to manage an existing portfolio.
- Consultative selling skills and approach.
- Proactive.
- Deep knowledge of credit structures.
- Well-developed credit skills and acumen.
- Well-developed underwriting skills.
- In-depth understanding of personal and business financial statements and tax returns.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Able to work independently, provide client solutions, prospect new client relationships, and coach and mentor other team members.
- Expert in building, advising, and managing client relationships.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
Pay
The pay range for this role is $112,596.40 to $200,000.00. The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
