This role leads the C&I banking team in the Indianapolis, Indiana Metro Area, focusing on generating new loan and deposit business, maintaining acceptable credit quality, and expanding client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and growth of C&I relationships with clients and prospects, focusing on revenue generation, retention, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Communicate sales goals and expectations and manage performance of relationship managers.
- Lead sales management efforts, including weekly sales meetings, business development calls, client relations, and coaching of relationship managers.
- Partner with Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Wealth, Swap, Community Banking, and others to offer solutions that deepen client relationships.
- Prospect businesses with a focus on those with revenue sizes between $5MM - $50MM and credit exposure of $1MM - $10MM, along with deposit opportunities.
- Achieve assigned team’s sales goals through proactive activities and behaviors that lead to results.
- Align client and bank objectives and orchestrate organizational resources and referral partners to build collaborative, client-focused relationships.
- Leverage centers of influence to build a network and create a pipeline of business.
- Ensure the team manages a portfolio of customers satisfactorily, maintaining professional relationships and monitoring the portfolio to meet current loan standards.
- Strive to meet or exceed average portfolio targets by strengthening existing client relationships and fostering new ones.
- Manage delinquencies and portfolio to ensure classified credits are recognized timely and referred promptly to Special Assets.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or H.S. Diploma/GED with equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant C&I and/or other Commercial Banking experience.
- Proven leadership experience, including prior management of relationship managers.
- Ability to orchestrate organizational resources and build collaborative, client-focused relationships.
- Thorough knowledge of Loan Standards, Loan Review Administration, and Banking/OCC Procedures.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of successful sales performance with strong business development and portfolio management skills.
- High level of sales, negotiation, and financial analysis skills.
- Position may require travel to other Old National, client, or meeting locations.

- Achieve team goals for new loan/deposit production and average portfolio target.
- Achieve team goals for new fee production and average loan delinquency.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $127,900 - $258,600. The base salary reflects the compensation range applicable across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on factors such as responsibilities, relevant skills, professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.
