Commercial Banking Associate (International Banking)

Responsibilities

• Provide client servicing
• Support the Commercial Banking team with credit requests, financial analysis, and loan administration
• Aid in credit administration and product/service sales
• Learn and apply financial analysis techniques including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, risk ratings, and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent work experience required
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred
• 3 years of banking experience required
• 2 years of bilingual (English and Japanese) experience required
• Registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) through NMLS
• Fluent in English and Japanese with strong understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances
• Prioritize planning, organization, and budgeting
• Show project management skills
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Handle confidential matters judiciously
• Identify and address customer needs and recommend appropriate bank services
• Work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining quality results
• Show attention to detail and maintain high levels of accuracy
• Think critically and solve problems
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite and Bank system applications
• Collaborate effectively with peers, colleagues, and management

Pay

The annual salary range for this role is $50,000-$75,000/year; commensurate with experience.

Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM (hours may vary)
