Requirements
- At least a high school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of experience in the financial services industry

- General knowledge of financial statement analysis
- In-depth operational knowledge of treasury and merchant services, card services, asset-based lending, international and domestic letters of credit, and securities
- Advanced knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Demonstrated ability to balance administrative functions with service expectations
- Aptitude for effective written and oral communication, organization, and providing excellent customer service
Responsibilities
- Support the bank’s Commercial Lenders by obtaining financial data, drafting letters and agreements, clearing exceptions, and obtaining collateral documentation
- Coordinate with assigned clients’ CPAs, attorneys, and insurance agents to resolve specific exceptions and transactional issues
- Assist in customer relationship management for the most complex accounts by processing transactions, renewing loans, resolving account issues, and providing other administrative support as needed
- Complete essential job functions with minimal supervision, using a variety of banking and lending applications
- Serve as the primary contact for commercial customers, including resolution of customer service issues
- Review all loan documents to ensure compliance with bank policy and regulatory requirements
- Monitor multiple reports to ensure that problems are escalated to the Commercial Lenders in a timely manner
- Utilize advanced knowledge of banking products and services to identify cross-sell and referral opportunities
- Assist in the management of deposit relationships and related services, including wires, account set up, NSF management, approvals, and signatures
- Monitor overdrafts and refer to Commercial Lenders for resolution (upon request and with proper authorization)
- Assist clients with draws, transfers, and loan payments
- Monitor past due reports and coordinate with designated individuals to collect on past due principal and interest payments
- Maintain awareness of risk, including observation of all job-specific policies, procedures, regulations, laws, risk limits, and industry best practices
- Report known or suspected violations to the appropriate authority in a timely fashion
