Key Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Acts as a liaison between Lenders, Clients and third parties to obtain and maintain documents required for new and existing loan underwriting and depository relationships.
- Reviews documents which support underwriting such as organizational documents, title commitments, financial statements, appraisals, and construction draw documentation.
- Supports the Lending Officer(s) in monitoring HMDA and CRA reporting.
- Maintains knowledge of the Bank's Loan Policy to ensure accuracy of loan presentations and of documentation.
- Facilitates loan documentation and coordinates and conducts loan closings.
- Manages financial and collateral exceptions of assigned portfolio within bank standards.
- Generates deposit account documentation and maintains knowledge of Treasury Management services.
- Other projects and duties as assigned, including ongoing training and learning.
Education And Experience
- Seeking 3+ years of prior experience with processing and closing commercial loans for middle market clients, and high level of client interaction.
- Bachelor's degree in business preferred.
- Will also consider more years of experience with processing and closing commercial loans in lieu of bachelor's degree.
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- High level of responsiveness and follow-through with both internal and external customers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness in finding solutions and answering challenges.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite; experience in the FIS Horizon banking platform and Loan Vantage preferred.
