Commercial Banker-Multinational Corporation Banking-Vice President

About the role

As a Commercial Banker in the Multinational Corporations group, you will be the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships. You will work closely with product partners, Corporate Client Banking, Global Corporate Banking, and Core Banking. The Multinational Corporation team manages J.P. Morgan's overall relationships with North American subsidiaries of large corporations headquartered outside the United States, helping clients meet their objectives and challenges in automation, risk management, working capital, and cash management.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Seven or more years of direct lending or credit support experience with a focus on business relationships.
• Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services.
• Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources.
• Demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and partnerships with senior business and control partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training.
• Sales management, business development skills, and proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Strong creative solution, problem-solving abilities, flexibility to changing business priorities, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive, and creative approach.

Pay

Competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. Eligible roles may receive commission-based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation, paid in the form of cash and/or forfeitable equity, awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions.
