Commercial Attorney (Biotech or Pharma Experience)
Our client is an innovative biotechnology company seeking an experienced Commercial Contract Attorney to support its commercial legal team during a parental leave. This is an opportunity to work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Medical Affairs stakeholders while advising on sophisticated commercial agreements that support product launch and post-launch activities.
About the role
The ideal candidate has at least five years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial legal experience and is comfortable independently drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements. You'll be joining an experienced legal team that values practical business advice, collaboration, and creative problem solving over simply identifying legal obstacles. Experience with contract lifecycle management systems, including Conga CLM, is a plus but not required.

- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements
- Advise on sophisticated commercial agreements supporting product launch and post-launch activities
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Medical Affairs stakeholders
Schedule
- Start date: September 28, 2026
- End date: approximately March 15, 2027
- Remote position, 40 hours/week
- Preference for Pacific Time availability
Pay
Hourly rate between $95 and $115. This range is an estimate; compensation will be based on qualifications, skillset, relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
