Commercial Arbitration Litigation Partner
Responsibilities
- Leading commercial arbitration proceedings on behalf of technology company clients from inception through resolution, including motions practice, hearings, and appeals
- Defending personal injury claims in the NYC metropolitan area across a range of fact patterns, including matters involving app-based claimants and off-platform incidents
- Drafting and arguing motions to dismiss, motions to compel arbitration, and other dispositive motions
- Developing and executing case strategy in close coordination with clients
- Supervising and mentoring associates and support staff across assigned matters
- Managing client relationships and serving as a primary point of contact for key accounts
Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of litigation experience, with significant experience in commercial arbitration
- Demonstrated experience defending personal injury matters, preferably in a high-volume or technology-sector context
- Active admission to the New York State Bar required
- Strong motions practice background, including experience with motions to dismiss and motions to compel arbitration
- NYC area location preferred
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload while leading and developing a team
