Commercial Arbitration Litigation Partner

Responsibilities

  • Leading commercial arbitration proceedings on behalf of technology company clients from inception through resolution, including motions practice, hearings, and appeals
  • Defending personal injury claims in the NYC metropolitan area across a range of fact patterns, including matters involving app-based claimants and off-platform incidents
  • Drafting and arguing motions to dismiss, motions to compel arbitration, and other dispositive motions
  • Developing and executing case strategy in close coordination with clients
  • Supervising and mentoring associates and support staff across assigned matters
  • Managing client relationships and serving as a primary point of contact for key accounts

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8–10 years of litigation experience, with significant experience in commercial arbitration
  • Demonstrated experience defending personal injury matters, preferably in a high-volume or technology-sector context
  • Active admission to the New York State Bar required
  • Strong motions practice background, including experience with motions to dismiss and motions to compel arbitration
  • NYC area location preferred
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload while leading and developing a team
