We collaborate across the company to advance the blockchain project and enhance our products, including the Orb (our hardware device), World ID, World App, and World Chain. About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Commercial and Corporate Counsel to join our growing legal team at Tools for Humanity. This role is primarily focused on supporting complex commercial transactions, strategic partnerships, enterprise deals, integrations, and other high-impact business initiatives that are critical to the company’s growth. You will partner closely with business development, partnerships, product, operations, finance, and legal stakeholders to structure, negotiate, and execute sophisticated commercial arrangements across a wide range of products, technologies, and markets.

Requirements

  • Relevant Experience: 3–6 years as a Commercial or Technology Transactions attorney with meaningful experience at a top-tier law firm and in-house.
  • Significant hands-on experience drafting, negotiating, and managing sophisticated commercial transactions and strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and build strong, trust-based relationships across legal and business teams.
  • Practical, business-oriented problem solver capable of balancing legal risk, commercial objectives, operational realities, and execution speed.
  • Able to generally be in the office in San Francisco, CA.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and integrity in all interactions.
  • Possesses a positive and collaborative attitude with intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with a track record of improving processes.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities and solving both traditional and novel legal challenges.
  • Willingness to travel for occasional international assignments.
