Commercial and Application Mobile Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Cook up with Commercial & Application Support Manager to schedule and finish field-based customer service calls
• Do basic diagnostics and fixes on Application equipment, Agriculture equipment, and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products
• Give customers first-rate customer service
• Participate in service training programs necessary for the growth of mechanical abilities and understanding
• Drive successful machine inspection campaign – expand inspection business
• Do complex diagnostics on Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products on site
• Support customers and AKRS employees with machine setup and optimization

Requirements

• Have 5+ years of experience doing service repairs, particularly specific to Ag Retail
• Be able to do basic mechanical repairs and needed maintenance utilizing special tools and equipment
• Be able to do basic computer functions
• Have expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems utilized in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
• Have expert knowledge of CAN Bus, AMS, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems utilized in the repair of agricultural equipment
• Have excellent skills in driving vehicles and equipment utilized for diagnostic purposes
• Need a High School Diploma or equivalent experience; an Associates degree is preferred
• A valid driver's license is required
