Commercial Alarm System Inspector

Position Summary The Commercial Alarm System Inspector will be responsible for performing scheduled inspections, surveys, installs and related project work for alarm systems in commercial facilities. Candidate must be comfortable with travel to all surrounding locations within the assigned route. Duties And Responsibilities Test and inspect Fire Alarm Systems, Burglar Alarm Systems, and life safety equipmentEquipment installations, as necessaryComplete project work related to FA and BA systemsSchedule your assigned workComplete jobs and paperwork correctly and in a timely mannerPerforms other duties as assigned Skills/Requirements Smart-phone familiarity and technologically savvyWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)Experience with mapping and routing apps such as MapPoint or Google MapsHave mechanical/technological/electrical aptitudeAbility to interpret written instructions and documentsAbility to learn through telephone trainingAbility to work independently with minimum supervisionAbility to communicate and provide excellent customer serviceValid driver's licenseAbility to maintain a reliable vehicle and appropriate liability vehicle insurance to perform work in the area, as deemed appropriate by Cennox liability insurance policy, currently in place and as amended in the future. Experience One-year related alarm or electronic security experience preferred, not required Education Current certification or ability to obtain licensing, if requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent, preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move 50 or more poundsAbility to sit and drive vehicleAbility to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freelyVision correctable to 20/20
