About the Role

As a Commercial AI Strategy Director, you will lead the development of innovative software solutions and drive product innovation to meet evolving client needs. Within our Internal Firm Services practice, you will focus on the overall evolution of the product portfolio—from managing the innovation funnel to building business cases and designing new products. Your role involves driving competitive analysis and market intelligence to provide insights that shape strategic product direction and positioning.

As a Director, you will set the strategic direction, lead business development efforts, make impactful decisions, and oversee multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. You will translate vision into action, inspire teams, and drive business growth. This role is crucial in shaping client engagements, mentoring future leaders, and upholding PwC’s reputation for quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset.

You will validate revenue generation by assessing the total addressable market, supporting go-to-market execution, and facilitating action plans for commercialization.

Responsibilities

  • Translate vision into actionable product strategies and guide leadership toward investment decisions.
  • Drive business growth through strategic product positioning and commercialization efforts.
  • Lead competitive analysis and market intelligence activities to inform product direction.
  • Build and manage product portfolios, including new product introduction processes.
  • Facilitate the design and execution of go-to-market strategies to maximize revenue generation.
  • Promote technological advances and foster environments where innovation thrives.
  • Mentor teams in strategic planning and execution of product strategies.
  • Cultivate relationships across the PwC Network to leverage collective strengths and drive success.
  • Validate revenue generation through applied total addressable market (TAM) analysis.
  • Encourage creativity and systemic thinking to solve complex problems and drive change.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 8 years of experience.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $122,500 – $423,780. For residents of Washington state, the range is $122,500 – $504,500. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, in accordance with applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
