Commercial Agreements Counsel

Latitude is assisting a well-capitalized, cutting-edge AI company in hiring a Commercial Contracts Manager to support its high-performing sales team. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, critical commercial agreements within a fast-paced, high-growth environment at the forefront of emerging technology.

About the role

This interim position focuses on high-volume NDA review and negotiation within a complex and rapidly evolving organization. The contracts manager will have full lifecycle ownership of mutual NDAs, including reviewing, editing, redlining, and managing agreements end-to-end. The role partners closely with the sales team to support high-velocity deal flow and requires the ability to manage a consistently high workload with efficiency and precision. There is also an opportunity to contribute to internal AI tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, with a strong emphasis on NDAs
• Manage extremely high-volume workflows with accuracy and consistency
• Support sales teams in high-velocity deal environments
• Own the full lifecycle of mutual NDAs, from review to execution
• Contribute to internal AI tools and contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems

Requirements

• Significant experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly NDAs
• Ability to manage high-volume workflows efficiently
• Experience supporting sales teams in fast-paced deal environments
• Interest in generative AI, CLM, and legal technology tools
• Startup experience is preferred

Position Details

Type of role: Interim In-House

Location: On-site in Palo Alto, CA

Duration: Approximately three months, with potential to extend

Schedule

Full-time (40+ hours/week, with potential overtime)

Pay

The annualized pay for this position ranges from $160,000–$180,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and candidate preference.
