Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor, product consultant, and closer: work with customers to deliver ROI through efficient, value‑based renewal and upsell cycles.
- Partner with the Customer Success team to monitor health scorecards, identify customer needs, and demonstrate account‑management capabilities to guide deal closure.
- Serve as a product evangelist: solution Zip for current pain points and future product roadmap.
- Help build team culture and bring best practices to the organization as a builder at a startup.
- Negotiate all facets of renewal contracts; develop win/win strategies that maximize contract value while enhancing the customer relationship and realized value.
- Provide regular, accurate updates on renewal status to management; escalate issues as needed.
- Manage current customers on multi‑year contracts to ensure value realization.
- Become a product expert: deep knowledge of the Zip platform for demo readiness.
- Become a procurement expert: understand the procurement market dynamics and opportunities for change.
- Leverage cutting‑edge sales intelligence and engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Clari, Zoominfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, Outreach) to prospect, manage deal cycles, and acquire new customers.
- Adapt and help shape sales processes in an early‑stage, hyper‑growth environment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of technology SaaS experience.
- Experience selling to procurement, finance, and legal.
- Experience driving customer retention and adoption of a SaaS product for enterprise accounts.
