The Role

At Dohner Landscaping, we're looking for a Commercial Account Manager to lead and grow our commercial maintenance division. This role is part relationship manager, part problem solver, part business developer, and part operational quarterback.

You'll take ownership of a portfolio of roughly 75 commercial landscape and snow clients -- an active, year-round book of business that keeps moving through every season. This is not a "sit back and maintain accounts" role. We're looking for someone who takes pride in ownership, sees opportunities others miss, and genuinely enjoys building long-term partnerships with clients.

Day to Day

  • Regularly visit client sites to check in and meet with decision-makers
  • Identify enhancement opportunities and ensure work in the field matches promises made when winning the business
  • Closely coordinate with multiple field crews and work alongside the estimating team
  • Use LMN to manage accounts and track progress across the portfolio

Success

  • Maintain strong relationships across a $2M+ commercial portfolio
  • Achieve a 90%+ client renewal rate
  • Identify and close enhancement and upsell opportunities
  • Grow the client base through new account sales
  • Maintain strong gross profit margins
  • Create an experience clients rave about and tell others about

Compensation

  • Total Compensation: $90,000 - $125,000+
  • Base Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience)
  • Performance Incentives: $35,000 - $55,000+ (uncapped)
