Commerce High School Fall Coaching Positions/VOLLEYBALL, HEAD COACH
About the role

Responsibilities
- Oversee sport and travel program.
- Select team for travel season.
- Develop daily practice schedule.
- Supervise students at all times.
- Check on eligibility of all athletes.
- Establish rules and expectations for athletes.
- Supervise students to away games on bus.
- Issue equipment and collect it at the end of the season.
- Secure building permits.
- Be aware of MSSADA Rules and Regulations.
- CPR Training and completion of the “Concussion in Sports” course (required).
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable of sport or activity.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to successfully instruct and encourage athletes.
- CPR/First Aid and Coaches Education and Concussion certified.

Pay
Salaries are listed as Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3. A person will be paid at Step 1 during the first year that he/she supervised the activity. During the second year that he/she supervised the activity, he/she will be on Step 2. Beginning the third year, he/she will be on Step 3. Salaries based on present collective bargaining agreement.
