Commecial Carpenter/Laborer

The Opportunity

You will play a vital role in supporting high-precision commercial, industrial, and federal interior construction projects across Southern Maryland. This entry-level position offers a clear path to build a long-term career in skilled carpentry within a safe, supportive, and mostly indoor work environment. You will receive hands-on training, great flexibility, and full autonomy while directly contributing to key regional infrastructure projects.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Assist skilled mechanics with metal stud framing, drywall installation, and ceiling assembly.
• Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and safety equipment for daily tasks.
• Maintain top-tier site cleanliness to preserve safety standards on federal property.
• Transport construction materials efficiently across active indoor project locations.
• Support accurate room and wall measurements under the direction of field supervisors.
• Utilize company-provided safety gear to safely complete all daily building tasks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Must be a United States Citizen to meet federal facility access requirements.
• Strong willingness to learn commercial carpentry and interior construction practices.
• Ability to perform physical labor indoors, including lifting and handling job site materials.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for designated project assignments.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 1+ year of experience working on commercial construction job sites.
• Prior exposure to metal framing, drywall, insulation, or acoustical ceiling work.
• Basic understanding of job site safety protocols and hand tool usage.
