About the role
The Extreme Command Specialist role provides direct technical support for ongoing rental and sales activity. This support may involve direct customer assistance or structuring information for use by other support functions within the Extreme organization.
The Command Specialist reports to the Command Team Lead.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to clients running Extreme equipment in the field.
- Escalate issues to the proper technical role within the Extreme organization as necessary.
- Catalog information from equipment activity and issues in the appropriate client business systems.
- Consolidate information regularly to update the Extreme organization on ongoing field activity.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-year technical degree required.
- 3–5 years of direct field experience in a directional drilling/MWD service business in North America Land.
- Working knowledge of XEM, xBolt, and other Extreme or client MWD systems ideal.
- Familiarity with rotary steerable systems.
- Familiarity with MS Excel, PowerBI, and other basic data analysis tools.
- Comfortable talking directly with customers.
- Recent MWD experience, specifically electromagnetic (EM) telemetry (within the last 3–5 years).
- Strong computer literacy (Excel, PowerBI).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior client experience, with XEM/xBolt experience.
Pay
$35.00 – $45.00 per hour.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Duration: 5 months.
- Work Type: Onsite.
