Combo Driver

Essential Functions

• Orders, delivers, stocks and rotates all products at customer locations according to established standards.
• Invoices customers for sales, collects payment from customers (e.g. check, cash, money order) and secures payment in safe.
• Maintains a good working relationship with customers; accounting and TDMs/VCMs at Pepsi; and other internal employees at Pepsi (e.g. warehouse employees, sales equipment employees).
• Communicates with retailers and Pepsi management team on issues regarding pricing, products, programs and problems that arise in the store.
• Responsible for the proper accounting of all products, shells and pallets (e.g. shells and pallets accurately accounted for and returned to facility).
• Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g. OSHA, DOT and safety requirements, AIB and Pepsi standards, Federal/State/Local laws).
• Maintains and completes required paperwork (e.g. DOT logs, Missed Time Verification forms, time off requests, mileage logs, sales reports, invoices); maintains confidentiality of product pricing, customer key locations and other sensitive information.

Experience & Requirements

• 12-24 months of previous sales experience with a consumer product line and customer relations experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Completed training through the Utility Trainee Pool and currently on a Combo Delivery or have at least 12 months previous experience on a Full Service, Tel-Sell, Combo, Express Delivery route.
• Able to lift up to 50-100 pounds manually in a repetitive motion; and able to push/pull up to 300 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, crawl, kneel, crouch, climb, talk, hear, push, pull and lift overhead.
• Cannot have corrective action items, either current or in the past twelve months.
• Operate a motorized pallet jack and walkie rider.
