About the role

As a Forklift Technician, you will perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of forklifts and material handling equipment, including Toyota, Combilift, JLG, Columbia, and other brands. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using technical manuals and diagnostic tools.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and manufacturer standards.
• Respond to service calls at customer sites, including emergency repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on new equipment technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in forklift or heavy equipment repair.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in various environments.
