About the Role

As our Colorectal Surgeon, you will deliver cutting-edge, comprehensive surgical care within a thriving multi-specialty clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. This expanded service line offers an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified Colorectal Surgeon passionate about surgical oncology, IBD surgery, and complex abdominopelvic surgery (CAPS). You will contribute to the Dignity Health Cancer Institute, leveraging expertise in colorectal cancer treatment, benign and malignant resections, and advanced surgical techniques to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a diverse range of procedures, including in-office hemorrhoidectomies, anoscopies, and intricate robotic and open interventions for benign and malignant colorectal conditions.
  • Manage a weekly schedule of approximately 10 half-days of clinic, 4 half-days of endoscopy, and dedicated block time for robotic and open surgeries.
  • Handle an average of 60th–70th percentile combined productivity with a patient demographic spanning ages 17+.
  • Participate in a shared, every-other-week call schedule, covering consultations for an established practice and new patient transfers, including a significant hospital-based practice component.
  • Collaborate in a multi-specialty environment with General Surgery, Endocrine Surgery, a Trauma team, and the Dignity Health Hernia Institute.
  • Utilize support from a clinic APP for post-operative and urgent visits, benefiting from centralized scheduling and a direct-to-colonoscopy program.

Requirements

  • Board certification in Colorectal Surgery.
  • Proven experience in gastrointestinal surgery and proficiency with surgical robotics.
