Color Lab Technician

About the role
We are seeking a skilled Color Lab Technician to join our Santa Fe Springs Team.
Responsibilities
- Process color requests efficiently and accurately to meet production demands.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, including the wastewater drainage system, dust collector, and SBMF oven, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Adhere strictly to company safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with supervisors regarding project status, challenges, and results.
- Manage workspace organization effectively while handling UPS deliveries and other logistical tasks.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in addressing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years directly related experience in color matching/mixing, ideally with samples and/or stucco and/or grouts materials.
- Experience in all techniques of stucco application is ideal.
- Full perception of the color spectrum, and the ability to create formulas in a timely manner using available materials.
- Basic computer proficiency for accessing formula database.
- Good math knowledge, including the use of fractions and decimal conversions.
- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
