Collision Technical Trainer

What You'll Do

• Deliver engaging collision instructor-led training on mechanical systems, aluminum and steel welding, aluminum and steel structural repair, and paint-less dent repair
• Train and develop Collision Technicians on inspection, repair, and service of Tesla vehicles
• Ensure that programs and processes are developed, assessed, communicated, and administered in compliance with Tesla’s objectives
• Affiliate with the operations that include inventory, vehicles, room setup, service center contacts, phone calls, scheduling, tool and equipment maintenance, and student data tracking
• Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet project deadlines
• Comply with all Tesla safety rules, guidelines, and standards
• Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
• Must be able to work independently in limited supervision environments

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of collision industry experience, training experience preferred
• Certificate from vocational school in Collision Repair preferred
• Advanced aluminum and steel joining experience – welding, riveting, and bonding
• Proven ability in structuring demonstrations and instruction sessions
• Proficient in use of dedicated and universal frame equipment
• High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Maintain and perform top level professional integrity and appearance as a Collision Repair Program Trainer
• Valid driver's license preferred
