About the role
Bluebonnet Collision Center is seeking an experienced Collision Mechanical Technician to join their team. They are looking for a dependable, quality-driven technician who takes pride in doing the job right and works in a professional, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical damage related to collision repairs.
- Perform suspension, steering, brake, cooling system, and drivetrain repairs.
- Remove and install engines, transmissions, and other major components as needed.
- Complete pre- and post-repair inspections.
- Perform wheel alignments and assist with ADAS calibrations (experience is a plus).
- Work closely with estimators and body technicians to ensure repairs meet OEM standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an automotive or collision mechanical technician.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license.
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
