Position Summary
The Collision Estimator serves as a key point of contact for customers throughout the repair process by preparing accurate repair estimates, coordinating with technicians and insurance partners, maintaining organized documentation, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from estimate through vehicle delivery.
Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare and review vehicle repair estimates.
- Gather vehicle damage information and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with customers, insurance representatives, vendors, and internal team members.
- Cookordinate estimate approvals and repair authorizations.
- Maintain accurate electronic repair files and documentation.
- Assist with parts ordering and verify parts received.
- Monitor repair progress and communicate status updates as needed.
- Learn estimating systems, repair procedures, and insurance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records using company software and Microsoft Office.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the repair process.
- Support daily operations while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of experience in customer service, administrative support, office coordination, automotive service, insurance, or a related field
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and follow-up abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
- In automotive, collision repair, insurance, or a related industry
- Experience reviewing estimates, invoices, work orders, or technical documentation
- Familiarity with customer-facing service environments
Physical Requirements
- Sit or stand for extended periods.
- Walk throughout the repair facility.
- Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- Operate computers and standard office equipment.
- Inspect vehicles in varying weather conditions as needed.
