Collision Craftsman (Body Technician)

About the role

Repair vehicles using shop estimates and manufacturers’ repair procedures
Inspect each vehicle for unknown needs and safety concerns
Inspect vehicles to verify final repair quality
Communicate verbally and in writing to document diagnoses and repair procedures
Communicate with shop manager to maximize your efficient workday

Responsibilities

• Repair vehicles using shop estimates and manufacturers’ repair procedures
• Inspect each vehicle for unknown needs and safety concerns
• Inspect vehicles to verify final repair quality
• Communicate verbally and in writing to document diagnoses and repair procedures
• Communicate with shop manager to maximize your efficient workday

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Collision Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent, I-Car Certifications preferred
• Technical Reading & Analytical skills
• Ability to learn and operate computer measuring equipment
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
