Collision Center Paint Prepper - Northside Lexus

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of the Paint Prep person is to refinish collision damaged vehicles following body repair to conditions specified by clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspects prep work
• Tapes and masks vehicle
• Mixes paint
• Applies paint coating
• Communicates status of all work to Estimator
• Color matches visually all colors in paint color spectrum
• Inspects finished product for overall quality

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or GED and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Including Driver's License)

Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Frequently stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
