About the role
Camping World is seeking a Collision/Body Technician to perform body and paint repair on recreational vehicles. The role requires strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and proficiency with all paint and body repair equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide and document complete diagnostics for repairing recreational vehicle equipment and structures
- Determine the best product for repair and customize/repair RVs in accordance with work orders
- Execute work orders and perform body and paint repair
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
- Keep supervisor appraised of work progress
- Ensure the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee
- Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
- Follow Safety and Hazardous Waste procedures as outlined
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned at company-established performance levels
Requirements
- Certification from college or technical school in a trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful but not required; applicable work experience is considered
- Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
- RVIA certification helpful but not required
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
- Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
- Ability to work in environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness
Pay
Pay range: $21.42–$53.48 hourly.
