Job Summary

The Southwest Tennessee Community College TRIO Upward Bound needs a student to assist with routine office activities such as data entry, file maintenance, digitizing forms and documents, updating bulletin boards, and assisting with events and other assigned duties.

Job Duties

  • Answering phones, responding to voicemails, and monitoring email communications
  • Performing data entry and assisting with student record maintenance
  • Digitizing student files and program materials
  • Making phone calls and sending reminder emails to students and parents as directed
  • Supporting recruitment efforts by preparing application packets and outreach materials
  • Helping with event setup and breakdown

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a registered student of Southwest Tennessee Community College
  • Only students who are approved for Federal Work Study are qualified for this position

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently
  • Able to communicate effectively
