College Readiness VISTA
Member Duties
Research data and best practices in preparing youth for college.
Develop materials that can be used to inform and educate families about the college application and admissions process.
Explore programming needs, including staffing, space, materials, and other resources to better understand the program budget.
Identify potential federal, state, county, and philanthropic funding sources that would support the initial implementation and long-term sustainability of the program.
Create protocol for college campus visits that include applicants and families.
Develop curriculum with benchmarks that can be applied to high school juniors and seniors exploring post-graduation options at colleges and universities.
Create system for tracking individual and program-wide outcomes.
