About the role
Wilson & Company is looking for a Civil Engineering Intern focused on Civil Engineering to join our Omaha Office. The position offers hands-on experience applying classroom knowledge to real-world projects and provides opportunities to work alongside experienced engineers.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex problems
- Assist project managers
- Collaborate with partners to produce clients' visions for the future built environment
Requirements
- Civil engineering student with an interest in civil-works careers such as highway engineering, municipal roadway engineering, and drainage engineering
- Significant hands-on and tutorial training on relevant civil engineering topics
- Highly responsible and dependable
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and impeccable work ethic
- Ability to work in an office environment
- Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands
Qualifications
- Current Civil engineering student
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to commute to/from school to the office
- No remote work anticipated
