About the role

Wilson & Company is looking for a Civil Engineering Intern focused on Civil Engineering to join our Omaha Office. The position offers hands-on experience applying classroom knowledge to real-world projects and provides opportunities to work alongside experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems
• Assist project managers
• Collaborate with partners to produce clients' visions for the future built environment

Requirements

• Civil engineering student with an interest in civil-works careers such as highway engineering, municipal roadway engineering, and drainage engineering
• Significant hands-on and tutorial training on relevant civil engineering topics
• Highly responsible and dependable
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude and impeccable work ethic
• Ability to work in an office environment
• Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands

Qualifications

• Current Civil engineering student
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to commute to/from school to the office
• No remote work anticipated
• Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands
