PROJECT or BIM ENGINEER Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, PayneCrest Electric, a Primoris Company, is a nationally recognized electrical contractor and trusted partner for delivering the industry’s most complex and technically demanding projects. We are seeking motivated and confident engineering professionals to join our project teams supporting some of the industry's most complex and technically demanding electrical construction projects. Opportunities are available in Project Engineering and BIM/VDC, with roles supporting project execution, electrical modeling and coordination, field operations, constructability, and project technology. CAREER OPPORTUNITIES Project Engineering Support Project Managers with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, and project closeout.Assist with project cost tracking, material procurement, and coordination.Work closely with field leadership to support safe, efficient project execution.Participate in commissioning, punch list, and turnover activities.Utilize technology to improve project team efficiency and project outcomes.Develop foundational expertise in project management, construction operations, safety, quality, and client relationships. BIM/VDC Engineering Develop and maintain electrical BIM models for complex construction projects.Produce installation-ready drawings including layouts, conduit routing, and equipment placement.Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks for modeling, coordination, and clash detection.Support constructability reviews and identify installation and coordination conflicts.Support prefabrication and modular construction initiatives.Collaborate with Project Managers, estimators, engineers, and field leadership.Help integrate BIM technology into construction planning and execution. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Internship, co-op, work experience, or project experience is a plus.Interest in electrical construction and construction projects.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, or other CAD/BIM software is a plus.Willingness to travel and/or relocate as needed to support local and national projects. Reporting Relationship Reports to a Project Manager.
