College Access Programs - Student Employment
Position Information
The Office of College Access Programs offers multiple programs designed to support students, parents, and educators in preparing for and succeeding in college. These programs include:
- GEAR UP (GU): Provides early college preparation and awareness services.
- Trio Talent Search: Offers academic support services to economically disadvantaged and/or first-generation middle and high school students.
- Trio Upward Bound: Provides academic support services and educational opportunities to economically disadvantaged and/or first-generation high school students.
- Trio Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS): Strengthens math and science skills for participating students.
- Trio Educational Opportunity Centers: Helps high school seniors and graduates make career choices and set educational goals.
Primary Purpose of the Position
Positions needed: Professional Tutor, Academic Coach, Program Assistant, Summer Resident Assistant, Summer Hall Director, Research Assistant.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Student must be enrolled full-time (undergrad-12 hrs, graduate-9 hrs) in the current session to be eligible for employment. For summer sessions, if not enrolled in a summer session, you must be registered for the upcoming fall semester.
