Collections Specialist (Remote)

About the role

The Collections Specialist role involves proactive customer contact, negotiation, and solution identification for overdue loan payments. The position demands professionalism, empathy, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage high volume inbound and outbound calls to address delinquent loan payments.
• Negotiate and execute payment arrangements, adhering to Enova's call flow.
• Resolve customer concerns and complex issues related to late payments with a high level of professionalism and empathy.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, explaining the implications of overdue payments and offering assistance for financial resolution.
• Accurately record and maintain all customer interactions, payment plans, and relevant information in Enova's database.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in high volume debt collections, managing both inbound and outbound calls.
• Exceptional conflict resolution and communication skills, including active listening and de-escalation techniques.
• Strong negotiation abilities to balance adherence to company policy with genuine customer empathy.
• Demonstrated high level of self-management for remote work, including time management, strict schedule adherence, and attention to detail.
• Ability to think quickly and logically to creatively problem solve and resolve difficult issues under pressure.

Pay

The budgeted hourly rate for this position is $18.00. Additional compensation may include bonuses. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and more.
