Collections Specialist
Description
The individual will handle under 5 phone calls per day, dealing with agents calling in with discrepancies on their statement or questions about premiums. They will also manage lots of email interactions with customers, automating processes where possible. They do not handle collections; instead, they focus on Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Research past due balances and ensure funds are moved between appropriate accounts.
- Work closely with internal departments and external parties to resolve billing and collection issues.
- Generate and distribute billing invoices, statements, and delinquent notices.
- Create monthly reports on aged receivables and collection matters for management.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as needed.
Outside of Excel
The individual works on AS400, Excel (using sort, basic formulas, and lookups), and a portal for premium information. They pursue delinquent accounts and maintain documentation of collection records.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
