Collections Specialist

Suddath · Jacksonville, FL · 1 mo ago
Full-time
We need to produce HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes "Why Choose Suddath..." intro, "What We Offer!" benefits, then description of Collection Specialist duties, responsibilities, skills, etc. Need headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections with real specific content. We have content: "Why Choose Suddath..." is about company culture, could be About the role? Actually About the role could be description of role. We have "The Collection Specialist is responsible for..." that's role description. Could put under About the role. Responsibilities: list of duties under "Essential Duties & Responsibilities:" and "Other Duties & Responsibilities:" (though latter is generic). We'll include the essential duties list. Requirements: maybe Education & Experience, Language Skills, Mathematical Skills, Reasoning Ability, Computer Operations, Planning/Organization, Certificates/Licenses/Registrations, Working Conditions, Physical/Environmental Demands, Physical Activity Level, Manual Dexterity, Special Vision Requirements. That's a lot but we can combine into Requirements section. Qualifications: maybe Education & Experience is qualifications. Could treat Education & Experience as Qualifications. Skills: Job Skills Required list. Benefits: "What We Offer!" includes competitive wage, comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) with company matching, weekly pay for hourly, biweekly for salaried, PTO, paid company holidays, tuition reimbursement. Also link to benefits page. So we have Pay and Benefits and Schedule? Pay info: competitive wage, weekly/biweekly pay. Schedule: Hybrid position mentioned. So we have Pay and Schedule sections. We must not include headings with filler text. Ensure we have substantive content. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. We must remove boilerplate: EEO, etc. Remove navigation, cookie, legal, scam-warning, duplicated lines. Also remove "Please note this job description is not designed to cover..." maybe it's boilerplate but it's a statement about duties may change; could be considered boilerplate but it's part of description. Might keep? It's generic but maybe keep as part of Other Duties. However instruction: remove duplicated lines, boilerplate. That line is typical boilerplate; better to drop it. Also remove "The Suddath Companies is a multifaceted group..." that's company description maybe part of About the role? Could keep as part of About the role? It's not specific to role but company overview. Might be okay under About the role. We need to preserve all substantive information; not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all details from the posting that are substantive. Let's extract sections: About the role: Could include company overview and role purpose: "Why Choose Suddath..." + "The Suddath Companies is a multifaceted group..." + "The Collection Specialist is responsible for managing business-to-business customer collections, monitoring account balances, preparing aging reports, and following up on overdue accounts. This role supports accurate and timely payment processing, maintains customer account records, responds to billing and account inquiries, and partners with sales, coordination, and billing teams to resolve disputes or discrepancies. The Collection Specialist plays an important role in supporting efficient cash flow, maintaining positive customer relationships, and ensuring collection activities are handled accurately and professionally. This is a Hybrid position." Responsibilities: list essential duties: - Prepare and maintain monthly ageing reports for assigned customer accounts. - Monitor outstanding balances and proactively follow up on overdue customer accounts. - Process credit card payment requests for assigned accounts. - Respond to client inquiries regarding account information - Maintain up-to-date customer records - Collaborate with sales, coordination, and billing teams to resolve disputes or discrepancies and support efficient cash flow. - Work independently and follow escalation procedures as needed (Other duties line dropped.) Requirements: Could include Education & Experience, Language Skills, Mathematical Skills, Reasoning Ability, Computer Operations, Planning/Organization, Certificates/Licenses/Registrations, Working Conditions, Physical/Environmental Demands, Physical Activity Level, Manual Dexterity, Special Vision Requirements. But we might split into Requirements and Qualifications and Skills. However instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could combine many into Requirements. Skills: Job Skills Required list. Benefits: What We Offer! details. Pay: competitive wage, weekly pay for hourly-paid employees, biweekly pay for salaried employees. Schedule: Hybrid position. We must not create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. It does. Now produce HTML fragment with

headings and
  • for lists,

for prose. We need to ensure we don't include empty sections. Let's craft:

    Pay

Competitive wage. Weekly pay for hourly-paid employees. Biweekly pay for salaried employees.

    Schedule

    Hybrid position.

Check for any duplicated content: Benefits includes pay info also; Pay section repeats. Might be okay but could be considered duplication. However instruction: remove duplicated lines. The pay info appears in Benefits and also in Pay section. Might be considered duplicated. We could keep Pay section brief and Benefits not mention pay specifics? But Benefits section originally includes "A competitive wage with a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with company matchingWeekly pay for hourly-paid employees. Biweekly pay for salaried employees.Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid company holidaysA tuition reimbursement plan..." So the benefits text includes pay frequency. If we separate Pay section, we might be duplicating. To avoid duplication, we could keep Benefits section without pay details, and Pay section with pay details. But we must preserve all substantive information; we can't remove the pay info from Benefits if it's there. However we could rephrase Benefits to not include pay details, but that would be summarizing/changing. Better to keep Benefits as is and maybe omit Pay section to avoid duplication. But we need Pay section only if posting has real specific content for it. The posting does have pay info (competitive wage, weekly/biweekly). So we need Pay section. To avoid duplication, we could adjust Benefits section to exclude pay details, but that would be altering the original text. However we could keep Benefits as is and Pay
