Collections Specialist

Job Description Primary Function:Collect payments for applicable delinquent accounts. Act as an advisor to members needing financial counseling assistance by offering alternatives and solutions. Primary Function: Collect payments for applicable delinquent accounts. Act as an advisor to members needing financial counseling assistance by offering alternatives and solutions. Job Qualifications: (Ability) Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to present a professional and personable personality that communicates to members and visitors that the Credit Union is a professional financial institution. Ability to prioritize duties to devote attention to protecting the interests of the Credit Union and provide a quality service to its membership. Ability to effectively review documents. Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to perform necessary computer related input. Required Experience Job requires a high school level of language, math and reasoning skills. Job requires work in collections or related field for not less than two years.
