About the role
The Collections Specialist will work closely with customers to help resolve outstanding balances while maintaining positive relationships. The role is designed for someone who is professional, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Maintain accurate account records
- Monitor aging reports and past-due balances
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues
Requirements
- Previous collections, accounts receivable, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
