Collections Specialist

About the role

The Collections Specialist is responsible for managing customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices. This includes contacting customers to resolve payment issues, maintaining accurate records, and reporting overdue accounts.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers to discuss payment plans and resolve outstanding balances.
• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and account statuses.
• Generate reports on overdue accounts and communicate findings to management.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve customer satisfaction and payment processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 2 years of collections experience, preferably in a customer service environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of credit reporting agencies and industry best practices.

Pay
