Collections Representative
About the role
Innovate Remotely at Lowe's Pro Supply, a subsidiary of Lowe's Companies Inc. focused on the multi-family property management industry. The Credit Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring timely payments from their assigned portfolio of accounts.
Responsibilities
- Aging and soft collections within the assigned portfolio of accounts (800-1000+ accounts) by telephone and/or email to process payments and initiate collections procedures, including release orders.
- Maintain accurate records of contacts and attempted contacts with account customers, as well as, records of any payments collected from the customers and accurate customer contact information.
- Provide white glove customer service through answering inbound calls timely and processing inquiries/requests from ZenDesk ticketing system.
- Partner closely with Outside Sales Representatives and Pro Solutions Center to research and reconcile misapplications, overpayments, and unapplied cash, requesting refund checks, as needed.
- Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress.
- Leverage customer data (payment history, purchases, ability to pay, business strategy) to make decisions on credit limits, payment plans, etc.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit and collections environment.
Preferred Skills/Education
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Cforia experience.
Pay
Pay Range: $16.42 - $27.42 per hour
Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
