About the role

The Collections Operations Specialist is responsible for managing and improving the efficiency of the collections process. This includes overseeing the collection of overdue accounts, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the collections team
  • Manage and improve the efficiency of the collections process
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
  • Maintain strong customer relationships
  • Resolve disputes and negotiate settlements with customers
  • Prepare and submit reports as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of collections experience
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with collections software and systems
  • Knowledge of credit reporting agencies and industry standards

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
