Collections Associate
About the role
The role involves determining and analyzing factors causing individual accounts to fall into delinquency and/or overdrawn status, implementing efforts to resolve these issues through interaction with account holders. This includes extensive telephone and written communication with members and other departments.
Responsibilities
- Extensive telephone and written communication with members and other departments to resolve delinquency and overdrawn status.
- Collection efforts including skip tracing, processing payments, or opening new activities for more complex issues.
- Credit and financial counseling of past due and overdrawn accounts in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.
- Proactive campaigns on non-delinquent, high-risk accounts to maintain good standing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of call center experience.
- Punctuality, willingness to work all scheduled hours, and ability to work overtime as necessary.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate related computer applications and office equipment.

Benefits
GreenState offers a progressive benefits package. Pay range for this hourly position is $23.61 - $27.60/hr.
