Collection Specialist 1, Driver, Mobile Collections
About the role
We are seeking Collection Specialist Drivers to join our Donor Services Phlebotomy team. You will conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy as well as provide donor care during the donation process. This role involves driving large blood center vehicles, setting up and tearing down collection operations, and restocking supplies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy
- Provide donor care during the donation process
- Drive large blood center vehicles to transport blood drive supplies and team members
- Set up and tear down collection operations
- Restock supplies
- Work varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends
Requirements
- Customer service experience
- Enjoy working with the public
- A good, stable work history
- Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures
- Be able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
- Be able to train away from home for up to two weeks at a time
- Comfortable driving larger vehicles (i.e. box-trucks, truck and trailer combos)
- Comfortable driving in various weather conditions
- Possess a valid driver's license in the state in which you reside and be insurable by our insurance carrier
- Hold or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Certification Physical card
