Collaborating Psychiatrist in Georgia - Remote
About the role
Thriveworks is a mental health provider with 340+ locations offering over 175,000 client sessions annually. Clinicians collaborate with Thriveworks under a hybrid care model, ensuring safety and best practices via telemedicine. They do not treat substance use disorders and refer to in-person providers for severe cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to employed Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners via Zoom.
- Offer a minimum of 1 time/month supervision (20-30 minutes) per NP.
- Be available via text/email during business hours to answer questions.
- Review chart/progress notes as required by state laws and governing bodies.
- Complete a short 1-page Google Document after each monthly supervision.
- Stay updated on company policies and program guidelines.
- Participate in annual training as required by the HR department.
Requirements
- BC/BE in Psychiatry.
- Active and unrestricted licenses in GA.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience supervising residents or mid-levels.
- Willingness to supervise up to 4 NP’s.
- No malpractice payouts, licensure disciplinary actions, or criminal/professional investigations in the last 5 years.
- You must have a compact license or be willing to obtain one or be licensed in multiple states.
