Responsibilities
- Organize outreach, engagement, and interaction with Student Groups on campus.
- Secure access/exposure to their membership and recruit them as program instructors.
- Research colleges and their student groups, identify student group chapters and their leadership, locate contacts, and maintain information in Salesforce.
- Engage with and establish relationships with Student Organizations in each campus by securing meeting time and securing presentations.
- Coordinate marketing material with Marketing Departments.
- Execute recruitment campaigns and enlist student organizations to relay JerseySTEM’s message to their members.
Requirements
- Attend virtual Department meetings weekly (Sundays 5pm EST).
- Monthly Leadership Meeting.
Qualifications
- Genuine concern about/interest in solving the STEM education gender gap.
- Ability to establish and maintain connections with area schools.
- Resourceful, can-do attitude.
- Experience with K-12 schools as a parent, former student professionally.
- Outreach experience preferred.
- Experience with community outreach, relationship development.
- Comfort working in a 'virtual organization' with digital tools (G-Suite, Slack, Jira, Salesforce).

Schedule
3-6 hours weekly for 6 months minimum.
