COLD FOOD (SALAD) (FULL TIME)

About the Role

We are hiring immediately for a full-time COLD FOOD (SALAD) position at Uber, located at 200 South Mathilda Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086. This role involves preparing and serving sandwiches, salads, and other cold food items, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.

Schedule

Full-time; Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. More details upon interview.

Pay

$21.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from Chef.
• Prepares sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments, and salads using approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
• Stocks and replenishes deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators.
• Stores food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units, and floors in the preparation and serving areas.
• Positions and clamps meat or cheese on the carriage of slicing machines, adjusts settings, and operates the machine to slice meats and cheeses.
• Interacts with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Six months or more of previous food handling experience is required.
