About the Role
Join the System IP Coherent Interconnect design team responsible for developing highly scalable, configurable, and flexible mesh technology. This role focuses on delivering high-performance, power-efficient solutions for hyperscale, AI infrastructure, IoT, and automotive applications. The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of all design aspects to achieve optimal Power, Performance, and Area (PPA), including low-power design techniques and awareness of system performance impacts. You will collaborate with verification, implementation, performance, and project management teams to deliver high-quality hardware designs on time.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement RTL logic using SystemVerilog.
- Plan, track, and coordinate individual tasks to meet high-quality goals at planned milestones.
- Collaborate with design, tool, verification, and power teams to deliver high-quality hardware, including debugging functional or performance issues using simulation and debug tools.
- Improve design methodology across the System IP group and the wider Arm design community.
Requirements
- Experience in fabric and interconnect design.
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as AMBA CHI and/or AXI.
- Familiarity with PCI Express (PCIe), Ethernet, or DDR is a plus.
- Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of transaction ordering, virtualization, MMUs, cache coherence, and host bridge functions.
- History of high-quality, low-power, high-performance RTL logic design within reasonable timescales.
- Experience with Lint, synthesis, static timing, and DFT.
- Knowledge of physical design and verification methods.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Ruby) and competence with Unix/Linux, shells, and Makefiles.
Pay
Salary range: $161,500–$218,500 per year.
Work Environment
