Required Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months experience with medical insurance, billing or clinical coding
Required Certifications And Licenses
- Will accept any of the following certifications in lieu of the 6 months experience:
- Certified Professional Coder Certification (CPC)
- Registered Health Information Technician Certification (RHIT)
- Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)
- National Healthcare Association Certification (NHA) Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- Certified Coding Specialist Physician based (CCS-P)
